I still hope for some political resistance to the Media Spree craziness. There has been a public voting that showed that Berlin citizens are absolutely against their construction plans, but at the moment it seems that even the left-wing parties got bought by the real estate speculators! Fucked up world! Give it ten years and Berlin won't be the special place it used to be but just turn into any other major city in the world.
There's so much space in Berlin, and not a very high population (about 3.5 million). There's enough room for everybody - high finances bureau towers and culture institutions, bars and skyscrapers. But the monex has to trample the culture under foot. And that with a left-wing government!
