Every vinyl i buy i need to rip/encode.....to play it with TS......

yeah, it's nothing wrong with buying vinyl and ripping it as long as you keep the files for yourself..

I can't see why he's a dumbass?
He's supporting the label and buying the release on vinyl, even though he only plays digital, therefore he rips it himself so he can play it out and again support the label by playing the release.
I see no problem (as long as he doesn't share it).
