I buy the nu version of reason the last week!
yesterday i start my nu track with the nu toy of propellrheads!
as usual i used reason with the nnxt and all my pro samples!
I used only samples for bass sound in the nn19!
For me the sound of subtractor & masltrom not was much professiona!

Now with the arrive of the THOR i want know if is professional for the creation of bassline synth compared with other pro vst!

How do you thing?

Anyone here realiazed tunes only use reason?

:?:

hey bud. i agree with people when they say to work on getting to sound design... it helps so much in the production process.... and reason is just fine for that learning process. the thing with reason that is considered not professional, is that the sound quality is not great ... but many producers will use it and send it out to be mastered, making the track sound more polished.

some tutorials that may help...

I know a ton of pro producers that don't use hardware or pro tools. This guy is full of sht. I havetalked to at least twenty big name producers that use cubase, logic, ableton, buzz, and even digital performer. NO HARDWARE.

I hope that guy wasn't serious about that post.
who needs all that software when you have soundclub http://www.bluemoon.ee/history/scwin/ and mousing http://www.sagebrush.com/mousing.htm

i'm still waiting for somebody to make a minimal track with these software

I definitely agree about the sound quality being poor,

it tends to make anything I wrote in it, very squishy sounding.

audio out through rewire definitely improves the final product.

it's great for Sketching and idea,
but I wouldn't use it to Paint...

I'm glad I've stuck with hardware.

I think it all comes down to workflow really... which is what makes hardware great.

Reason reminds me of my old Yamaha rs7000.

Some of the sounds are kinda weak, but rewired to ableton ... It's quite nice.

Check out Luke Vibert's reason file and some of the hoover synths on dogsonacid.com... Eq splitting and resampling are good ways to get good sounds. Rewire is also necessary...

what's with rewire; do you mean the sound quality improves by only rewiring; that sounds strange. or do you also use plugins to mix in this case?
