the age limit sounds bull$hit to me.
never have i been to watergate and undergone or witnessed
an age check, neither any of my friends. if you look proper enough
to enter, you will. same goes for most of the clubs i've been to.
i can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

Well, maybe the bouncer was lying to us, but fact remains he told us the limit is 23. And what does 'proper enough' mean? old enough? I've gotten checked plenty of times (been going there since I was 17 or something like that) but have dodged it most of the times.

Btw - last time I was there it was the New Kids On Acid party - maybe the limit is set higher at that party, and other "high-profile" events. Other times I've been there the limit has been lower.

oh sorry, i never meant you were bull$hiting us, i just hear this for the first
time. by 'proper' i mean 'good enough' to the bouncers' eyes to enter.
that might consist of how you're dressed, or who you're with, etc.etc.
there might be an age limit, but i assume it applies on a very selective
level... probably on busy nights. thing is you can't find justice on such
matters... timing and luck(?) might be important sometimes :)

would you recommend going early?

I want to see monolake, bell and my boy Plasaiko really badly... I am 21, my travel mate is not he is 20...

and when you say look proper, you talking lookin all avant garde and etc?

one more question for the intelligent masses, if watergate is a no go, where can we go around there that will offer some of the same goodness, without the hassle?

Watergate, Visionäre, Bar 25, Berghain/Panoramabar is in walking distance in that area.

Right, if you get rejected at watergate - go to watergate

Other recommendations are good though. And yes, early is always a good idea in my experience. I'm sure it won't be a problem
