in my opinion is minimal much popular today as it was in past,
maybe it is good, but also it can cause something simmilar what was happend in trance, that the quality of the minimal tracks will go down, because it is easy today to find all the software used for composing and that's why a lot of people are producting track, which could be sometimes better...
