creativity dip - what do you do
i do one or both of two things. i either take a walk far away from home or do boring stuff like cut up samples or normalize them so that when creativity hits i can get my ideas out more quickly. usually by the time i have done the tedious stuff for a few hours inspiration comes forth anyways.
faith in chaos.

Whenever I try to take a break, I become insecure and lost. I don't know what to do.
Music is an obsession and it's becoming heavy. It's like... sometimes I feel music is playing me.
This might sound weird... but sometimes I wish I wasn't a musician... that I was just a listener... totally free of having to create to feel like anything higher than dirt.
I should see a psychologist.
People... I beg not to make fun of me. I had to get this off my chest and I think you are great people. I think I'm going to cry...
trust me. A LOT of people feel this way.

maybe just look at other art forms to draw inspiration, sounds funny but read some books perhaps or watch some arthouse films, the narrative strategies of these can provoke very clear emotional responses that can be translated to music... especially stuff to with atmosphere...
