well that one was pretty tried and true by the time the last revision came out. macbooks will be the same a little while from now, they just got a few more kinks to work out until then. that is why i am waiting until later this year before i invest in something that expensive.

I also have G4 powerbook with 1.5 GHz procesor and i'm totaly pleased with it.

Not to scare anyone,
but this catalogs a lot of the common problems people have had with these machines. It doesn't mean if you buy one, you'll experience all these problems... it just means that problems do exist, and many of them can be fixed simply by googling around and finding the solution to the heat problem (easily fixed - google it like I said)
