just thought i'd add my 2 cents re young Magda here...

Saw her in Oz in early Jan and was going into the gig with no expectations as i have in the past been to gigs of hugely hyped artists and have been very disappointed. I had heard a couple of her mixes, and did enjoy them yet had also read mixed reviews of her gigs. I also felt that her track on the minimise to maximise LP was pretty ordinary...

For mine she was brilliant. Almost seamless mixing and track selection (very few tracks i could spot but no real surprise there...) Playing to a crowd who had mostly been up partying for the last 2 or 3 days over new years she had almost every tom, dck and derrick up on their feet dancing!

I was regardless to say, very impressed!
Since then the Stop ep has been released and i would say i am now a bit of a fan

One of the most interesting DJs in the scene for me now.
Even though I have to say I have seen her play some boring sets.. when she comes through its AMAZING.
