didnt meant it like that, of course somewhere is always fresh blood, but it needs a damn long time for them to reach the surface and the big booking agencys are not helping ..

and for women its even harder ..

i cant fly or drive to another country on a hunch to some underground underground fresh blood private party in some basement for 4-5 hours ..

so the festivals are kind of important, to spread the word about an artist.

Oh now come on. The internets are essential. I was around before the age of the internet. Talk about making it harder to find out about new talent. Especially living in the middle of podunk USA, it was damn difficult.

It's almost TOO easy with the internet. Podcasts, internet radio, digital music sites, blogs...if anything it's more separating the wheat from the chaff, rather than not having access.
