does it matter if i have a mixer(pioneer djm 600) between my pc and my amplifier +2 passive monitors?

because when i'm making tracks at home it sounds much better then when im playing these track on other soundsystems,it freaks me out!!
help me out if it aint the mixer....

there is a million reasons why it sounds worse on a big system. probably not the mixer though.

you really have to be really good at mastering to have a mix translate well on various systems.

or, maybe the sound system is not set up right.

what in particular sounds bad?

be prepared for that, cuz not everyone has the same monitors as you. best way would be to record your track, go on to a couple of your friends studios/houses whatever and listen. take notes what needs to be changed in order to achieve what you are looking for. or, go to sae and pass a mastering class.

I would have I look at your monitor/Room Acoustic setup if this happens on more than one sound system
