Detroit DJ Ryan Elliott has gained notoriety over the past few years by programming sets that are as well crafted and sophisticated as they are danceable. From minimal techno to summery house beats, Elliott has played both big rooms and martini bars with equal success. His increasinly busy touring schedule has seen him play this year in Spain (Sonar), Ibiza (DC10), Japan, and all across Europe. As a DJ, Ryan is adept in the late night hours, finding the balance between heavy floor tracks and elegant crowdpleasers. Utilizing three decks, multiple audio sources, and outboard effects are par for the course, and Elliott employs them with the utmost skill to keep crowds engaged.

A long-time friend and DJ-partner of Matthew Dear, Ryan was asked to be a resident at Detroit’s infamous weekly Untitled alongside Dear, Tadd Mullinix, Mike Servito, and Derek Plaslaiko. In 2005 he began a new residency at Detroit’s Oslo, and created a stellar 33-track mix for the 2xCD edition of the Spectral Sound Vol. 1 compilation.

Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, Ryan Crosson discovered electronic music in his late teenage years. After strictly DJing for a few years, he took the next logical step by beginning to produce his own music in Fall 2003. Drawing from artists like Plastikman, Matthew Dear, Stewart Walker, and a heavy dose of Magda DJ sets, Ryan focused his attention on percussive programming, dubby basslines, and dark atmospheres.

Now one of the "new breed" signed to Richie Hawtin's Minus label, Ryan's international touring schedule has exploded. His live PA has been moving dancefloors all across Europe and the US this year. He's one to keep an eye on for the future sound of US dance music.

Seth Troxler moved to Metro Detroit from Kalamazoo, Michigan at age 15 and immediately broke onto the electronic scene in Detroit. Inspired most by the works of Richie Hawtin, John Aquaviva, Derrick Carter and Danny Tenaglia, Seth's DJ abilities are very eclectic with styles ranging from Jazz & Rare Groove to minimal funk & Percussive Techno.

At the tender age of 20, Seth is a key player in the Detroit techno scene, and his tracks receive heavy play by some of the biggest DJ's in the world. A very talented DJ and producer, and a future star in the making, we're very proud to host him for his first appearance in St. Louis.

Bill Patrick's love for dance music began in 1998 after attending his first New York rave. He frequented the legendary club Twilo and Vinyl almost every Friday for Danny Tenaglia's Be Yourself party.

Showcasing a flawlessly blended brand of electro, minimal house and techno, Bill has played virtually all the big clubnights in the world, including DC10, Fabric, Cocoon, Pacha - Buenos Aires, and Space - Ibiza.

He's been a regular in St. Louis, and for good reason. Come see him one more time.

Dennis Rodgers is one third of New York's Robots, a techno trio out of New York who run regular parties at Cielo and the weekly show Robot Radio on East Village Radio. Tipped as a DJ to watch, Dennis plays the funkier end of the minimal house/techno spectrum, and he reads a mean weather report.

He's also a capable producer, his remix of Butane's 'The Sound of Digi Down' included on the first 12" on the Alphahouse label out of St. Louis. Dennis is currently beefing up his studio acumen so keep an ear out for more of his studio creations.

He also just had a mix featured on the highly regarded Resident Advisor weekly podcast series, so hit up http://www.residentadvisor.net/podcast- ... .asp?id=23 to download the mix

Label boss for Alphahouse Records and after-hours DJ extraordinaire, Butane hails from the Midwestern United States, the birthplace of many great techno acts. His monthly party is a ‘must stop’ for touring minimal techno artists, and his record label is commonly regarded as one of the premier minimal techno labels in the United States.

With a touring schedule in 2006 that included gigs in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Detroit, Budapest, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more, you can be sure that there's no shortage of ability from this up-and-coming artist.

A skilled and creative DJ on the decks, Andrew uses Final Scratch to test new tracks, a sampler to scramble up old ones, and plenty of experience to move bodies while simultaneously keeping a distinctly heady vibe. Expect interesting minimal house and techno mixed in creative ways.

Born a chicken farmer in rural missouri, Jenks spent countless hours banging pots and pans together entertaining the yard birds. Naturally, he progressed from the barn yard to the dj booth and his sound hasn't changed much. Funky bass and banging pots and pans bounce. The chickens love it, and you will too!
