no, of course you can't perform live with a soundcard crashing all the time.
what is the option on the m-audio website?

i don´t know if it works... its a bit difficult to probe it...i would have to generate a variation of tension here at home...

if you can take the risk of trying the m-audio solution in your next shows... i would do that
otherwise i would go for a soundcard which is not bus powered

a D/I box will help!
I ve had the same problem - i couldnt work with my laptop and the standard power plug. I bought a new power plug with a smaller plug (not the grounded ones, more sth like this: Image ) and then it worked , or you go for sure and buy this item: http://www.musik-service.de/palmer-pli- ... 733de.aspx
That will solve ur problems surely.
But first solution is cheaper , and better way, if it solves the problem[/url]
