buy a microphone and talk into it.

or

rent a weird dvd, rip the audio and make clips of random voices.

most people dont record their own, they collect them from obscure records and movies.

I honestly don't think there is one sample cd everyone is using...I know what you are saying though...honestly, just use vocals that are as dry and monotone as possible. the processing the producers are using is main difference...But, quick question, Why would you want to sound like everyone else?

to be honest, I was mainly wondering if there's a sample library like that....I don't try to sound like everyone else, I've sampled stuff before, but it just occured to me that there might be somthing like that (there is for every other f****** thing :) )...
