Jeff Samuel's LP looks cool and all but I just don't get why artists tend to put more tracks on the cd release than on the LP. I don't see the reason why the LP should be deprived of all the tracks. The way vinyl is going now as far as sales are concerned it seems as though more artists are adding more fuel to the fire to make vinyl sales go down even more by making the vinyl release have less tracks than the cd release and I don't think that's right, all that does is make more dj's eventually become cdj dj's and discontinue purchasing vinyl, and thus the worse thing possible could eventually happen, vinyl becomes obsolete. Does anybody else agree? Well that was my rant of the day :)

the usual reason is because you can only fit 12 minutes or so on a side of vinyl before the sound quality starts to suffer. this means most CDs would have to be at least 3LPs for it to sound good. most labels and distributors cannot afford to press (and ship) such a heavy package. and also most DJ's will not spend the higher cost on a 3LP.

I have had this for some time now, and must say that this is REALLY GOOD! Both for dancefloors, but also for home...! Essential album.
