I am thinking of buying a new imac 2.ghz, 2 gb and i want to buy a soundcard around 400-600 $ ( i want the cpu not to go too high ) i am between m-audio delta 1010 and motu UltraLite.. can anyone make any suggestions???HELP

I have a mac book pro 2.0 etc. 1 gig ram. use a fw 410 for mobile recording sometimes. AS FAR AS CPU: you won't have to worry... I use logic and i have to try to tax it. I would advise having a seperate hard drive to house all audio files seperate from the main hard drive that you are running logic off of (that helps a ton). I like m-audio and have used delta but I have friends that have the motu traveler and ultra light and from what I have seen they are rock solid and are not buggy at all. If you are going the protools route I think then the m audio would be a good choice though. anything else...I really do like motu and I want to get an ultra light myself.
