- not the best sound quality
- only rca connectors
- sampler sucks, the handling is to complex, in comparison to others, like the redsound soundbite i think its quite useless
Imho the Kaoss Pad is just a toy (like already mentioned), nothing more. I think you will get bored from all this standart phaser/flanger/echo/whatever effects soon. But if it has to be an all-in-one-solution - have a look at the pioneer efx!
I'd rather buy some high quality filters (like the Xone ore Vermona).
My suggestion would be to, if you have to have it at all, get it only if you find it super cheap on ebay or something..
I bet it will be easy to find used as I don't think many people would hold onto it for too long - probably a case of thinking it's awesome for awhile until getting bored of it and realizing it's limitations and flaws. No shame in that, i'm always an advocate of "get what you want". I just don't think it's the smartest thing to buy, especially if you, like most musicians, don't exactly have unlimited money.
"...Michaelangelo is a PARTY DUDE.. *PAARTEEEEEEE!* "
I might be a little off topic, i was thinking of a little fx box too but, i'd rather use the korg padcontrol with live fxs. I'll get this when i have a little cash
