Medicine Walk is the darling and solo debut of Danish producer Rasmus Møbius. Drawing from the obvious influences of dub and hip-hop, Rasmus mixes these ingredients, adds a flavour of Brian Eno and a hint of jazz, and comes out with a very consistent, warm and steady album. His work as part of the dub-hop duo Melk has influenced his sound (and vice-versa) and helped define the solo work, although there’s some very different qualities to “Medicine Walk”.
Not exactly minimal, (what are these days anyways) but very stripped to the bone, plenty of details and very strong consistency.

Just got my copy in the mail and I am very impressed.
This album reminds me of what Pole tried to do with his latest album and just couldnt pull it off like this one.
Great work.
