* A place for sets that didn't make it to the radio *
What is allowed:
- sets recorded live on real decks during your bedroom dj practice
- sets containing mixing errors (use your common sense here)
What is NOT allowed:
- sets created with mixing software
It's live & real.
live from our bedrooms

Re: LIVE FROM OUR BEDROOMS
Is it allowed to do a set at home with mixing software without using the beat matcher, so you'll get a set made at home full of errors?KETROO wrote:* A place for sets that didn't make it to the radio *

- playing digital with timecode vinyls (so still it look and feels like real vinyl)KETROO wrote:I don't know for sure how it works with these 2. How much advantage do you get over real decks?
- no carrieing around with heavy vinyls
- able to take >10.000 tracks
- search tru your collection in a second
- placing comments behind your tracks to give you hints for faster searching
- play netlabels
- play unreleased stuff
- play edits of tracks
- looping on the fly
- key lock
- filtering/effects
- history function to see what you played
- saves money in the end, because you can download a single track from a ep on Beatport (or whatever online store), instead of buying a vinyl only for one track.
YES! mixing with Final Scratch/Serato Scratch Live comes free with human errorsKETROO wrote:Do you still have to bit-match manually or does the Mac do it for you?

First of all the aim here is NOT to post sets "full of errors" even if they were recorded on real decks. Use your common sense.idealstandard wrote:Is it allowed to do a set at home with mixing software without using the beat matcher, so you'll get a set made at home full of errors?KETROO wrote:* A place for sets that didn't make it to the radio *

Secondly I think it was pretty clear stated that sets created with mixing software is not allowed. So the answer to your question is NO.

Hmm, thought so, my loss. But could you explain me what's the point then?KETROO wrote: First of all the aim here is NOT to post sets "full of errors" even if they were recorded on real decks. Use your common sense.

Not meaning to diss you or whatever, but I don't get this analog vs digital stuff, real djs vs fake ones...
