help with record shopping in USA

I want to buy Hawtin's DE9 DVD through one of my relatives who lives in USA,because we don't have record shops here in iran.
but since Im not so familiar with US shopping can you tell me how she can find it,consider she doesn't know so much about this music,and she is in Washington DC.
and is it gonna cost more if she order it online(via amazon for instance)than buy it from a record shop?

order it on amazon if they got it - save time - shipping won't be that much ....) gas driving around looking for it would be more.....just my 2 cents
