well its not that bad for you SHADI,cause here in iran not only theres no record shop,but also we dont have credit cards system!
the only thing I can do is getting 1 minute samples of new releases from juno or phonica....

Russ, it all depends on how much records you buy, but since I wait a while and a make a huge order, the shipping is usually half as much as the records cost.. which is never too cheap.. don't have much of a choice tho.. want music.. gotta pay up!

there are just me and some other freaks here who really love it.

Its such a toss up between records and studio gear. The problem is studio gear can take a while to save for and a record is just so easy to buy. Buy enough records and you could have bought something nice for the studio.
I think in the long run gear is more important.
Its hard not to feel left out when there are so many good new releases.

thats how most ppl who buy records in todays digital times feel.
the big bang of minimalistik electronics over the past 2 years made the situation much more worst

yeah i know what you mean, i've been to Iran many times, my cousins live in Tehran.I must say i've been to some crazy parties over there too,the kids there are fucking up for everything, it' great...good times good times
