Sub/Bass Synthesis

hey man i think that is low in octave have some pitch envelope and some distortion and of course a filter with a little bit of distortion

Hello.

Just curious on the synthesis behind this sub/bass sound:



Any ideas on how it was made? Sounds to me like each bass note modulates it self maybe? giving it that rumbling sound on each note. Not sure if its just is a lot of LFO/FM synthesis(?) but I'm really interested on how its made. Anyone have any suggestions?
