I used to be a raver... not a 'candy kid' american style... but much like rich with the glowy jacket and white gloves..

that was when I listened to hard techno (mokum type stuff) and go to things like this

hrm. i used to wear big pants and other colorful clothing, take large amounts of any drugs and go to atleast 1 party a weekend so i guess my answer is yes.

I go to raves... errr, corporately sponsored licensed all-night club nights events.

Well, now and then the odd 'real' rave (warehouse breakin/etc) happens around here. But generally speaking, most 'raves' here just happen in normal clubs/etc now - which is fine by me.

But, never did the phat-pants/glowstick/crazy hair thing. I just did (and still do) the pop an E and dance my ass off like nobody is watching till 10am thing now and then.
