CDJ 2000 Nexus cueing problem
CDJ 2000 Nexus cueing problem
Ive just got a pair of these and I'm having problems already. The issue I'm having is when i use my usb stick i load a track up, scratch back on the first beat hit the cue button and then the cd skips back to the end of the previous track, placing the cue point in completely the wrong place. It seems theres no gap between the tracks? Ive read online about other people having the exact same problem but haven't came across a solution. This never happened on my trusty old 1000 mk3s. Is there a solution to stop this? Its very, very frustrating - i can't figure out how to stop it happening and I'm guessing theres probably an easy fix. thanks.

are you only trying to cue the record up on the first kick drum of the first track? Perhaps start on the 5th or 9th bar for example.
Also are you hitting the cue before or after the first kick? I don't use CD players all that much but from the way you described it it sounds like you're hitting cue after you pull it back which is naturally pointing to another track.

I was literally going to write the same thing, even before I saw your picture.
