suggestion you may think would be a good fit...

Post by John Clees »

If you can find 3 or more releases from the same label on this first page here, please let me know. Perhaps it's a new label with substance and worth a new subforum in the vinyl section?

Please post any suggestion you may think would be a good fit or be practical for other labels we could add for subforum's here. I feel 2-3 more different labels would be enough, but also wanted to get our reader's thoughts as the same time.

Ideally and hopefully any that you may suggest would ideally have at least 2-3 release on this front page. * perhaps if needed we could add them in too.

thank you kindly!

hey, i've seen some, no idea when they are worth a sub forum, but anyway, i list the ones i found. maybe it make sense to make a sub forum also for labels that not release often and limited, so you can check the sub forums for news ... i missed some eps cause i just was 1 week, sometimes 1 day to late ...

okay, heres what i found not what i suggest:

Pluie Noir
Imprints
Cabaret
Andromeda
Amphia
Sylphe
Slow Life
Oscillat
Delaphine
Fathers & Sons
Ugold
Fear of Flying
Arpiar

and i think some more with 3 or more posts ...

so what would be the best solution? A sub forum for all of those labels listed above, half, or just one sub forum for slower release schedule.

perhaps take the top 4-5 listed above, and create individual subforms? I'm sure there is going to be trial and error but I just want to move in the direction of what would be most practical.

hard to understand why a label its worth a subforum..
just a different point of view..why not collecting them per months and not per labels?

another really good point. I like the idea of tracking the smaller more specific labels too. not sure if that would that (in any way) would help track the smaller labels using that method as well? yes/no. ideally it may be practical to try to implement both.

this kinda goes back to my initial idea of putting release date in title as posted in my thread from years ago. if ppl did this, I could easily file things. we could make this forum for current month only, and move anything else into monthly forums. starting from this year would be a nice even break. almost identical to the track id section where the idea was lost in translation...

I know I was ironing out some crinkles of things that I've wanted to implement for sometime. perhaps this is the next change to add something orderly here too? so releases : as mention : aren't missed.

Is there enough space in the title ... ?
