Bit more of a minimal breaks project here, just a sample at the moment but would love some thoughts. :)

well, i'm not to keen on the snare sample you used...it just doesn't really fit in the concept. maybe you could think of making a few extra layers to make it more unique and interresting. same thing goes for the hats.

i kind of don't feel what are you aiming with this piece...maybe because it's just a sample.
Drop the idea of becoming someone else, because you are already a masterpiece.

Sometimes it doesn't work no, but it is currently.

yeah rock snares dont fit this style.

your hats are very thin too, kicks nice and deep.

needs work.

...see repaying the favour already!!

Quite like it - the programming is pretty tight, I think you just need to have a think about some of the sounds (as has been suggested already). The snare esp.
Like the vocal bit etc.
