basic field recorder should be just what you need..

that is what I assumed from the start. Not sure if it would be possible... if it was, I'm sure you getting into the $200 range + Im sure... even then it may not be possible. that's like Sound Fordge recording two things at once on different channels. . It's a stretch if you ask me but then again some of those are also some of the newest new technology.

when done properly or balanced it's amazing.. typically most I've heard have shitty sound quality to the music.. * cue wighnomy brothers set that has over 4000 views...lol

One of the best musical journeys I've heard in a long time—all vinyl, amazing—with just the right amount of crowd noise and even then only in certain spots.

I'm playing this one right now on my new Genelec 1037's and the studio is shaking (in a good way). Papa Sven still rocking out. There's nothing quite like two great records competing for energy with the crowd coming through here and there.
