[MM002] Mihai.T - Prava EP (incl. Bayt Remix)

For our second release, we’ve decided to go even deeper into mysterious waters of experimental minimalistic club music, bringing you yet another undergound talent from Romania – Mihai.T. For his debut outing on the fledgling Shah Alam imprint Mihai.T drops three original cuts of of minimal-esque tech house. Kicking off the EP ‘Prava’ explores an after-hours house aesthetic comprising of deep well placed percussion, sine bass and vox snippets that ebb and flow throughout with swing laced hats injecting energy into the groove. For the remix, we brought in Bayt seems like he had a big and interesting journey with the percussion creating a street atmosphere which reminds us Bucharest underground. On the flip ‘Bientôt’ is a percussive over 12 minute work out that trips and tumbles throughout its course making for an infectiously wonky tool that will slot well into any discerning DJ set. ‘Vocant’ has a really nice groove and will catch you from the beginning till the end.
