After having recently signed to Jamies Jones & Lee Foss’s imprint “Hot Waves”, Carlo Gambino debuts on Gooseneck Records with a deep house gem bound to cater to all those in love with groovy and bouncy beats.
With over 18 years in the industry so far, 2010 was a momentous year and the start of something special with Carlo being signed to '3am Recordings'. Several strong releases on the label quickly followed, which led to a rapid increase in demand for his original and remix work globally.
This heavily armed EP kicks off with Carlo’s original, filled with bouncy bass lines along with an addictive drumbeat and infectious groove. This one is sure to pull anyone back onto the dance floor with a steady beat and catchy vocal that will keep you going.
Up next on the EP is the already well-established global DJ/Producer Silky. Mentored by the “Godfather of House” himself, Frankie Knuckles and currently with recent additions on My Favorite Robot Records and Nurvuos Recordings.
Silky’s remix is full of energy and emotion. A “techier” take on the original, with a solid bassline and trademark glitchy sounds. At first, this one is sure to keep you put and hold you in place, as it continuously evolves, slowly carrying you through the track. An amazing use of smooth pads unfolds towards the end, revealing waves of emotion and sure to make this the wildcard of peak time bombs.
To round up the EP, comes “3am Recordings” head honcho Al Bradley. Keeping loyal to his “3am Deep Remix” sound with this deep house take. Slower paced and deeper bassline than the original, it will take all deep oriented junkies on a journey. Progression is clearly marked on this one with a bass switch up midway through this 9 minute adventure, sure to keep those feet tapping and heads nodding on the dance floor.
