After a successful debut release, Micromod contently and tacitly stepped back into it's creative corner to carefully construct it's next affair.
The end result is both sentient and cerebral. Micromod presents Sudoku Lamb from Montreal artist, Ana+one. The release is complimented by three cleverly atypical remixes by Billy Dalessandro, Demas and Sebastian Koch. Ana+one's sound is an aural blend of warm familiarity and mechanical flavours. Title track Sudoku Lamb, offers this trademark sound with a twist, incorporating eerie unsettling vocals, whirling atmospheres and stompy bass.
Pickled Ego gets deeper and more dispersed as Ana+one displays the true power of "less is more". Unidentifiable bleeps and quirks layered over rounded out bass with an undeniable late night feel.
Sudoku Lamb remixes are no two alike.
Demas comes in with crispness, swing and perfectly placed cuts. Sebastian Koch effectually spreads things out and darkens the mood with bubbling, crackling atmosphere. Billy Dalessandro gets in your face with obscure bass and hellish reverberation.
