Re: [Soma353] Envoy - Seawall (Villalobos Remix)
the remixes and productions of the last couple of years doesn't compare even a little to his old perlon productions. THIS was quality!

i don't agree tho i like his older stuff much more than the current releases.. it's just that his style changed, i'd love to see him producing bangin' material or at least harder stuff sometimes..
anyway what you said implicates that his latest stuff ain't quality.. that just sounds hugely wrong to me

I'm sure he gets paid quite well....and that' why he does themThemis wrote:he uses the same baseline for every remix thats just sad.. he shouldnt remix at all if he doesnt want to put in the effort ..

This is running at 128 bpm. Like 98,9% of villalobos music.resolved wrote:up?! gabba dj or something? i wanted to slow it downbreton wrote:As i was listening to the sample, i kept wanting to move the pitch fader up

You don't have a turntable, do you? When you move the pitch fader up, it slows the record down.resolved wrote:up?! gabba dj or something? i wanted to slow it downbreton wrote:As i was listening to the sample, i kept wanting to move the pitch fader up
Re: [Soma353] Envoy - Seawall (Villalobos Remix)
uh... when you pitch something up, you're speeding it up. nobody uses the term w/r/t perspective on the actual pitch control! i suspect i've had a turntable for several multiples of the number of years you've been buying records.
but i agree - even if this is at 128 like all of his other tracks, it sounds really hurried at 'normal' speed. much better slowed down.
