As the name state, "The Loaf Under My Blanket" not only gets automatically funky but the sound this EP wraps up with has more warmth than you can imagine. While the first 3 tracks are a classic take on minimal techno, DbF always keep a touch of subtle sound design that can mess seriously with unready dancefloor people, but for the best. The piece de resistance comes with the title track of the EP, which is a huge noisy decadent techno painting where what feels like it has been thrown in randomly actually has a blatant and unsuspected groove. Dry is the new black!
