Synth presets

I first play with all the knobs see what I can find out then I'll go through some of the presets to see how they got some of the sounds. For example I have texture which can used to make alot of different stuff from weird sounds, pads, leads. I still don't know how to make it sound as powerful as the presets, it really just comes down to knowledge. So the best thing to do is get a simple synth figure it out and apply that knowledge to the more complex synths.
