When Uta Brauser created the weekly Friday open-air Creative Grove Artist & Designer Market series at the Grove Street PATH 4 years ago, she was inspired by Union Square's bustling year round market, which she describes as "a vibrant scene no matter what the weather is like". Downtown Jersey City was in need of collaborative vending space in Downtown Jersey City to operate as "an independent, artist owned platform in a public space" and "should involve the social element of interaction, experiment and exchange."
With this in mind, this week a very special guest will be providing the most fresh disco house music in the area:

We're not kidding. This is no April Fool's joke. The Coach is coming down from "up yonder" to bang the box, and it looks like this will be one of those mad 6-hour DJ funky house sets that will be sure to add a twist to the April Fool's Fananzia. Coach Roebuck, originally from Charleston, WV, is being recognized by everyone from the bedroom DJ to the superstars as one of the producers to keep watch for 2012. If you haven't heard of the Coach yet, rest assured: you'll soon hear him loud and clear.
