Post by RichardLodge »

Ok.. sorry another pretty boring question.

Can anyone recommend some Monitor Isolators.. do you think it matter what brand or are they all the same essentially.

expensive but worth it, they weigh like 15lbs each compared to auralex mopads which are just foam and light as a feather

the primacoustic recoil stabilizers are probably one of the best improvements you can get for your studio that you can think of.
they're worth every penny, even though they don't come cheap.
When I got new monitors a few months back, and got new stands for them that have an isolation system built in them (zaor iso-stands), I still got an extra pair of recoils for my focal twin 6BE's, just cause I got so convinced by the pair I got for my previous monitors.
the recoils are a very effective things !
