I got it for £90 off ebay about 9 months ago. It's in a right old state, but I was never bothered about how it looks.

I use the esq1 all the time. It's good for just about everything.

The reason I bought it was because of that VST. I had been using it for years and then finally decided to pick one up. Not even sure where I came across the VST but its my favourite one and its free!

The battery on my synth has gone which means I cant use the sequencer or save patches which is a bitch but its so easy to create tones on it so I never worry about saving them. I have the battery here, but am sh!t with things like soldering so not bothered trying to fix it.

The envelopes confuse the hell out of me. I think its env 4 controls the ADSR except its not like the conventional ADSR.

I honestly haven't delved that deep into it because I find that making sounds is dead easy without modulations etc...

Did you get any carts with it?

I can post up some settings to some patches I made if you want? I have some of the best ones written down so would be easy for me.

I would love to try out some of your settings! That would be wicked. When i get to that point ill do the same. Mine didn't come with any carts. I really wish it had more onboard memory. It can only store 4 x 8 = 32 presets?! :P Can u write to any of the carts?

I cant use my internal memory because my battery is dead. Instead I save to the carts which have 80 spaces on each that I can save to. I have filled them all up so now I dont really bother saving or I just export the patches using midiox and keep them on my pc till im ready to use them again.

Ill give you some patch settings tomorrow. I just got in from work so its time to chill out now for the evening.

I want some of these carts! Are they sequencer carts or something else. Cause aren't most of the program carts written EPROMs?
