quite often 16 or less, some times just four channels is enough to do the job with my own stuff..
but as in morphology there is something like +30 channels, but most of them are just layers of different tapedelay recordings, and stuff like that.

Usually around 10-15... more if I'm using Drum Racks and you count each drum track.

I think they discontinued it... there have been instances where I cannot get it to clock sync but once I get that worked out it seems solid.(loose cable)... I'm not sure if I would recommend this one or not though... but for me I couldn't get along without something like this.
Maybe somebody else has another recommendation for ADAT boxes? or try getting a used digimax?

This. It ends up being really messy for me, as I like to have each individual sound in its own channel. I feel like I have more control over the individual elements this way.kdgh wrote:using 30 - 50 channels that probably ends up to 15 bus channels.
i don't really resample, so lots of the channels are layers of certain elements.
