i'm sure you'll know this one - rusty nails by moderat.
anyone tried to programe the lead synth that kicks in at 1:32? some help would be great! all i can hear is that is has something to do with some glide and a bit of attack.. what oscs would you guys suggest?

sounds like simple detuned saws, with an filter envelope... maybe a small amount of pitch envelope too.

i think that the real thing about the total ambiance of the track is not the lead sound, but it's the way the lead and the pad / background sounds work together. the lead sound alone is nothing special.

Yeah detuned saws. Just try playing around with the tuning and maybe add some portamento.
