i think any tape delay can get seemlier result, unless the reverb is involved in the sound you after.

Re: Roland Space Echo
tape echo is all about the feedback sending into itself.
try all these units they are all very good. the Interrupter ones are good too.
on
1. put it on an auxillary send.
2. map controls to the send and feedback knob.
3. set your delay to 1/4, 1/3, 1/8 and there may be a way to make it slightly off... or even modulate the timing... this stuff is all good depending on your sound source...
4. control the send and feedback knobs musically. if you send something for a second and then crank the feedback knob to the right level you'll have infinite repeats that continues to degrade and sounds amazing.

Cool post Hydrogen, I'm gonna try those settings now.
Do you have an IR reverb, if not you can find a usable free on here http://www.knufinke.de/sir/sir2.html
Some nice people have put the impulses measured from a hardware Space echo here http://www.dubbhism.com/2009/04/re-201- ... pulse.html these can be imported into most IR reverbs.
Also worth checking out all the impulses on this site, especially the King Tubby IRs http://www.dubbhism.com/search/label/im ... 0responses
I am finding mixing a bit if hiss/clicks in and out of your sound sent to the re verb sounds nice (to my ears).

I've got the soundtoys stuff, Was less than impressed with it tbh? Seemed to use alot of resources also.. My opinion only though.
