try recording down to overdriven tape and back .

Also PSP vintage warmer offers alot of control check it out if you want to add some grain and grit and (albeit) digital wamrth if there is such a thing. less is more : http://www.pspaudioware.com/plugins/dyn ... gewarmer2/

mmm i guess it's true...

my signal chain is warm as fck already though from fucking amazing and quite affordable synth modules.

but maybe a different workflow or set up would suit such a device.
