In preparation of the upcoming Netaudio London festival runsounds are gearing up to play host at the opening party. It’ll be a very welcome return to the fantastic Apiary, and with Funktion One sound and acts including Dave Congreve, Leif and our own Alex Fisher playing a live set, we’re looking forward to a night of deep, quality electronics.

Alongside being a dab hand in the studio (producing alongside Steve Boardman as Con/Man for Rotters Golf Club and recording as Repeat Repeat for Soma), Dave Congreve has also spent the last couple decades guesting at some of the best clubs and parties across the UK and Europe (Fabric, Sub Club, Back2Basics etc), touring as a dj with Two Lone Swordsmen and playing alongside many of the greatest house and techno djs at one of his famed residencies. He’s also no stranger to our line ups and it’s great to have him back.

In the past few years, Leif has forged a reputation for his trademark sound – a blend that encompasses elements of deep / tech-house, vocal house, bleepy funk, delicate chord soundscapes and enough chicago-style shuffle to to keep the dancefloor moving. It is this same sound which has taken him all over the world including Tokyo, London, Berlin, Budapest, Munich, Franfurt, Amsterdam, Gothenburg and more. He’s also accumulated releases and remixes on worldwide labels such as Liebe*Detail, Moon Harbour, FINA, Morris Audio, Fear of Flying, Boe Recordings, Frankie recs, Thinner, Mindtours, Textone, Telegraph, Logisticand of course his own label Trimsound. Having played for us in the early days (both his and ours), it’s been amazing to watch him grow and develop as an artist and it’s a real pleasure to have our paths cross again!
