thanks. both need some mastering and balance work. they're only supposed to be three minutes, though, as they are a couple of my practice pieces for the laptop battle finals.

I can't see past you -
Snare has too much stereo, it needs to be more mono. the ambience is nice, as are the pads, but the seem s bit thin to me, try adding some low end boost to them, they sound much warmer when they're deep.
I don't know about the hoover/stab it sounds unnesessirily harsh to me.

wow, thats a deep kick - is it just me or is the snare panned left? nice melody with the 808 congas. I think this track is better than the other, nice staccato effect, is that tight compression?
Im not feeling the harsh acid line in here though, but i see that as being a constant theme in these tracks, and thats cool.
