Good Flanger/Phaser

the main point I am trying to make is that playing with phase in that way is very interesting. the analogue versus digital topic isn't something that i feel is necessary to discuss. i mmentioned it first becuase i thought it was funny that most subtractive software synths just offer basic waveshapes when it's completely possible to go much deeper (although of course there are exceptions)

How about we talk about the actual effect of mixing oscillators at the same frequency but with different phase? I think it's much more interesting than using a phaser...

Never felt the need to use a flanger.

As for phasers try SupaPhaser by Smartelectronix.

If you want a good/great phaser/flanger go guitar pedals. They are great for bass.

yes, the free ones are really good but once you try the pay-ones (all Multiband) you can go nuts. Not only for the multiband but because you can modulate
everything with everything. This makes the Melda plugins absolutely unique. I got the MCreative bundle and it's really a bargain for what you get!

not sure if its been mentioned, but the in built phaser / flanger / chorus with logic are the best ive used to my tastes.
