Any good DUB TECHNO aimed straight at the dance floor?

Post by spage »

I've got tonne of dub techno by intrusion, basic channel, rhythm & sound etc which is great for my sleepy morning's on the tube heading to work and when I am trying to concentrate at home but I was hoping you might be able to recommend a few releases that are more "dance floor friendly" or beat orientated that I could mix up with some decent tech-house and deep house and techno? Preferably released on digital format as that's how I roll now ;) I've been sort of looking but nothing has really popped up on the usual digital shops/sites.

makes me laugh when people say its not suited to the dancefloor. When you play it on a decent system it sounds amazing.

that's kind of what i was insinuating with my reply above... :)

know your records, know your room, know your audience...

there is NEVER a time when a well placed dub record won't absolutely ignite a room.

i think you were a bit less blunt about it. that was probably a bit friendlier.. i was in a bad mood and wanted to vent a little bit.

It's possible the OP didn't listen to all the records by the artists he mentioned... there are a few Basic Channel tracks that are a bit slower, but they also do super danceable stuff.

It's true, a whole night of it might get difficult, and there are lots of clones... but good dub techno will always have a place.
