Is that me or Eastern Europe seems to have some of the most wicked line ups these years? I mean, it's always been a great place for music, but it seems to get into an other level of purism lately...
I always enjoy the Detroit Movement, but I'm American and lack many of the great (affordable) choices you Europeans have.
Miami is overpriced bullshit.
Decibel is too far from me in Seattle.
Electric Daisy, Electric Zoo, Coachella, too corporate, too far, too expensive.
Shambhala in Canada, again too far, too brostep.
Mutek is interesting to me, really wanna go one year.
Lots of smaller outdoor hippieish festies happen on farmland here. Some are good, some are meh...usually all pretty affordable but majorly lacking in quality techno or house. Big focus on "electronica" jam bands, brostep, psytrance...not my bag.
So back to Movement for the 4th year in a row for me!
