Hopefully more real DJ's will emerge.. not just (non dj) producers making a buck

More djs that actually move a dancefloor, less "resident advisor" type djs.

I have been to a few parties recently with lesser known DJ's playing - free entrance sometimes and the parties have been good. Looking forward to more of the same - This makes for a good scene Smile
Yep agreed. Smaller underground parties for me. It's hard though as nobody supports the smaller nights - you need a crew. I'm thinking about starting up a night somewhere in East, just need to find the right space.

Crikey. Sad state of affairs. Vinyl is still very much alive and well over here, though I guess the same can't be said for every city and every genre.
i've seen loads of DJ's play vinyl in London. who cares if someone plays 100% vinyl or 50% vinyl.
