lunch during the day, dinner/bar at the begin of the evening
and party at night.
you have a lot of extra costs then and need it to be busy all of the time.

The best clubs that I can think of, are just clubs. All of the budget goes towards the club that way and you will have a specific target audience rather than trying to cater for all different types of people.

There's a lot of money to be made in food tho I think, it might just pull a club out of the sh!t when needs be. Bar type club / nightclub are 2 different things tho I suppose.

I think that sec a club will only work in a big city.

Where I live it is hard to run a good club in a smaller city.
You can make money only 2 or sometimes 3 days a week.
But you don't rent the location for 8 days/month.

I made a businessplan like that in the past and I am convinced
it is the only way here to keep a club alive.

And it is not necessary to focus on different types of people.
In my plan I just focussed on younger people.
The work all day and when they get home they do not always
want to cook. When there is a nice hang out with decent priced
food you go there instead of some snack/pizza/shoarma corner.
And when this is in the weekend you have them in early and it
is your job to keep them inside till the next day!

defo +1 on this...
its rare that you get a big enough volume of people to keep a dedicated electronic music club open...

its probably better to try and throw a few nights first, create some appetite before going solo...

yes, I understand I need critical mass to run the business and to get an interested audience but I don't want to manage a restaurant.
+ my place is full of restaurant and no one decent dancefloor...

maybe an opening one or days a week during the high season... to create something very special.
