Frank Martiniq is someone we've been keeping an eye on since his Adriano release in 2002. More recently we had been enjoying his record on Stroboscopic Artefacts, the label from our good friend Lucy. We were more than pleasantly surprised when he sent us a demo featuring these two killer tracks. Without a doubt Golden Dusk is the best track we've heard so far this year. A very rare combination of deep techno and dancefloor hysteria. The B-side Golden Dawn got recorded during a jam session Frank held with his buddy Aera from Goldwill (Wandering, Liebe Detail). It's definitely one of the most original and trippy songs we listened to in recent times. With titles like these we couldn't help but pressing the first 300 on gold vinyl! The artwork is again by the wonderful people at Blessing in Hamburg (Laid, Redshape...).
