Anyone Been To Oslo or Live there?

Post by jackbrazzo »

I might take a break with the girlfriend to Oslo - we can get cheap flights I notice to Torp or Rygge.

Is it worth going for a few days - will be in November -Basically want a few sights, shopping and maybe some fun one night in a club or whatever.

Any tips appreciated.

I heard its expensive, hmmm can get £12 pound flights return out there, I suppose it might cost that for two beers.

Looks quite a cool city, I would mind checking out the viking museum and the munch painting - just after something different. Not really after nightlife to be honest, well maybe a few beers and just some christmas shopping.

Expencive and quite small, but a nice town..
You could probably find flights for the same price from London to Stockholm. Bigger, better and cheaper.. ;)

You're joking aren't you? Stockholm flights are very much upwards of £100 return in my experience. I wanted to go for NYE last year.

Okay, I admit it, it's a wild guess, but maybe prices around NYE is a bit different, no matter where you wanna go. I know I might be far off here, but hmm
