Yes, i know but i'ld like to have a long tom sound, like a dark sine wave.
How can i do it?

What's a 'dark' sine wave? A sine wave is a sine wave whichever way you look at it.

Along Tom sound can be achieved by errr, lenghtening the decay on the Tom sound! :?

Ugh...pitch it down for it to be lower. Maybe add some distortion for teh darkness. (-)

Why can't you just use a synth if you want a sine wave? You can also generate one in an audio editor and use it in a sampler.

If you want to use an 808 tom or kick, sample one off or get hold of some samples with maximum decay and put it in a sampler and pitch it. Then simply adjust the sample start time and put an envelope on it. It's very straightforward.

basically all you do is set the decay on the 808's kick to the longest setting. then trigger it.
