she actually isn't that bad. Plays a bit cheesey tracks but she can mix really well. Too bad there are (obviously) always more cameras around here and no one in the club dances. And most people there are dudes She plays with her clothes on these days I think, got married.
She used to be a pron star too, if someone wants some oldskool Belucci action...
I actually know her personally. And I can say that technically she is very good plus the tracks she selects are pretty good considering the genre she is playing. Cheesy electro house-house... whatever house... Apart from all this is very cool girl.
But a dj can mix fluently, but when his records suck it is stil a bad dj.
A dj can make a mistake but can compansate this with a great tracklist
and he still is a good dj.
But I have a few dj's who are allowed to make mixtakes
because with all the millions of dj over the world you better mix
perfectly!
beat matching is a skill that a monkey can learn, which in my book is so elementary that if you can't do it then chances are when it comes to mixing you probably will suck ass at it. Mixing, however, is probably the most technical skill a dj can have, ie proper levels, eq's, programming etc.
This to a certain extent is not something you can learn as much as its either inn you or not. Selection lastly is the most vital skill and the easiest to achieve but the most failed at by our peers, and this is probably because many dj's lack the understanding of music as a whole and the varying frequencies and tones that songs provide and how to select tracks in a way that you present a rainbow of sounds and not just a limited scope that will never really fully deliver.
